Highwood pass - Ptarmigan circque

Afgelopen zondag een prachtige wandeling gemaakt helemaal in het zuiden van Kananaskis Country aan de Highwood pass. De eerste 20 minuten behoorlijk steil omhoog en daarna door de bloemenweiden naar de moraine van een gletscher, en lunch bovenin. Half augustus bloeiden daar bijvoorbeeld de vergeet-me0nietjes, de natuur is maanden achter hier. De plaatjes spreken voor zichzelf.



Last Sunday we hiked Ptarmigan Cirque on the Highwood pass in the south of Kananaskis Country. A steep 20 minute start and after that a beautiful scenery in the meadows full with flowers.
